2021 Clark Road Vineyard
This vineyard is on the cool west side of Anderson Valley, where Pinot Noir thrives. We are intimately familiar with this site, which we have been farming since 1999. During those years, we have learned that we can leave the fruit on the vine longer than other sites, and as we allow it to ripen, it develops the juicy acidity so essential to top-quality sparkling wine. Flint and pastry crust aromatics showcase long aging on the yeast and give way to delicate ripe cherry flavors. The bubbles are soft on entry. This wine is bold, yet delicate and long.94 Points
"Pretty aromas of grapefruit, mint, eucalyptus and white nectarines. The palate is bright, with flavors of green mangoes, citrus and red berries. Vibrant acidity and rich bubbles. A powerful yet nuanced wine that is a joy to drink."

"The 2021 Clark Road Vineyard is a powerful, deep sparkling wine. Green apple, jasmine, white peach, chalk and slate race across the palate. The 2021 is wonderfully deep and fleshy yet retains terrific vibrancy from start to finish. Brisk saline undertones extend the resonant, salivating finish."

"Rich and gracefully structured, with lilting flavors of strawberry, pear, yeast roll and roasted nuts that linger on the lush finish."

“This is big, rich stuff that comes off fat on the tongue. Dense melon and red fruits collide with sea salt dusted French bread and star jasmine water on the palate. A seamless, delicious bottling to enjoy now, this has both the stuffing and verve to cellar well for another ten plus years.”
