Roederer Estate Tasting Room
Nestled into Mendocino’s rolling hills and surrounded by vineyards, Roederer Estate is barely visible from the roadway. The rustic exterior may not be what one expects from the venerable House that created Cristal. Although the company could easily have built an elaborate showplace, Roederer opted instead to emphasize the natural beauty and relaxed charm of the Anderson Valley. Inside the Tasting Room, visitors can sample the Roederer Estate sparkling wine, including the magnum — there IS a difference!

Wine Tasting
Reservations are needed for all wine tasting visits. We offer several options for your visit, including a seated sparkling tasting or bottle service. For larger groups or those looking for a more intimate experience, please reserve one of our private tasting options.
Nosh Menu
Elevate your Tasting Room experience with classics ranging from Marcona almonds and duck rillettes to smoked salmon and Tsar Nicoulai Caviar — all prepared to order by our in-house chef. Items from our Nosh Menu can be selected as options on our booking platform.
Roederer Estate Tours
Join us in the Tasting Room, to be taken on a walking tour of Roederer Estate. Learn about the history of the family and how they found their way to Anderson Valley in in the early 1980s, and discover the unique process of making world-class sparkling wines. Tours of Roederer Estate are available by appointment for $25 per person, for up to 10 persons. The tour will take approximately 50 minutes followed by a sparkling wine tasting. Comfortable shoes and layered clothing are recommended as it can be very cool in the wine cellar.
Plan Your Trip to the Anderson Valley
Visit our sister wineries to fully understand the quality of Anderson Valley wines. Scharffenberger Cellars, a five minute drive down Highway 128, produces delicious sparkling wines that are fruit-forward and pair wonderfully with food. Another quick drive will bring you to Domaine Anderson, known for crafting single-vineyard Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from its certified organic and biodynamic vineyards.
